Materials Science Program Description

Program Overview

The interdisciplinary materials science program is a collaboration of the Departments of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry and Geochemistry, Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, and Physics. The range of disciplines supports Materials Science degrees with fourteen focus areas.The Lead Scientist, Dr. Brian Gorman is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the Materials Science Program. He has an office in Hill Hall, Room 370. bgorman@mines.edu
